The Misc section is getting pretty damn long. Do I… a) start deleting the old ones like the old chatter did? b) let them be? ...which slows the page load down a bit c) figure out some way to paginate the sections like I do the threads? (which might make things more confusing than they need to be) or… d) something clever that I haven't thought of but you have? |

I say delete the older threads… unless there is something that is really worth keeping.. yea.. there is my suggestion.. the chatter hall of fame.. |

Maybe make another category that old threads could be moved to for a short period of time before they are deleted so people can check and see if there is anything in there they want to save or copy before its gone. You know, a place where we take threads to be put down. We could call it Old Yeller. |

Ahahaha…Old Yeller. So Old Yeller/Hall of Fame section sounds doable. I'll add that to the list of options. I believe the Old Chatter chopped off the old threads (except for the administrator threads) once the section reached a certain number of threads. I don't know…C-pher might have more insight into that. |

Sean has a good idea…as long as it doesnt slow things down…otherwise I say just dump them! |

Yea, I like Sean's idea too. I like to look at thread when I'm feeling nostalgic haha |

Yea, the old thread just dropped off the end, never to be seen again. There were only like 50 or 100 threads on a page. Any Admin threads stayed at the bottom, never to go away. Any others as new ones were created, the old ones would drop off. As this isn't really a php program…do we have a way to archive old threads. So if we were to google search, they would come up…but they don't show up on the main screen? |

Also, is there a way to show the year on the thread dates? I am always curious when I look at profile posts to see how much we have changed over the years. |
