Grateful that my brother-in-law is having the Funk soul brother's spaghetti cook-off AND Thanksgiving at his house this year…I still have to cook the turkey…but at least I don't have to polish the teacarts…

Confident that the Blend King will remain reigning champion of the cook-off…

Aprehensive that this will be our first holiday without Jackie…

Thinking my 30-gallon-holding 12mpg-gettin' monster truck is liking the 1.59 gas because I'm driving it again. Otherwise it was spending a lot of time parked in the garage being jealous of the Accord.

Super happy about last weekend. The Buckeyes delivered a rectal thrashing to Michigan and the Columbus Crew won their first MLS cup ever. I'm not a big soccer fan but I watched the game on TV and I was cheering by the end. Good week for ol Buckeye city.

And the slider stuffing…that stuff is awesome.  I've made it several times.  I usually don't tell anyone what's in it until they've already eaten it, because if they know ahead of time, they won't even try it.

As for me…

Gearing up for a hopefully productive day around the house.  Need to paint the trim in the bathroom and install some baseboard in another room.

Hung the chandelier yesterday, so that's all good.
