This week I was subbing at an ESE school for the entire week…. it started out as a one day assignment for a teacher training day…. the teacher had some things come up in her family that it turned into the whole week…

Monday her and I had talked about the Twilight series…. I had noticed she was reading one of the books and I asked her some stuff about it…. she told me I totally needed to read it…..

well…... thursday, when she was dropping of the day's plans, she asked me if I had gotten my hands on the first book yet, I explained that I hadn't because I wasn't going to buy it and the waiting list at the library was really long because of the moving being out…..

as she was getting ready to leave she pulled out a copy and handed it to me as a thank you for being in her class and how much she appreciated me being there and how she wanted me to sub whenever she was gone….

I just thought that was so awesome… there are only few other teachers that I have that call all the time when they need a sub and they all say the same thing… that they are chill about their classes when they know I am there because they know that it is in good hands… I have teachers that call from last year and schools taht call me first thing when they have classes they need covered,..... that makes me feel good….

this was a nice surprise for me and it still feels nice to know that there are actually appreciative of it….
