My grandma passed away.

My grandparents were like parents to me…when my Father left they helped my mom by watching me while she was working to take care of us.

They are the reason that I'm into guns now…there wasn't a place either in thier house, or the farm house that didn't have a gun.

My grandma and I would go and pick beans, strawberrys, cucumbers….we would spend the afternoon getting them ready while she canned them, or made perserves, or pickles…

My wife would spend hours every morning learning how to make true country breakfasts.  My wife now makes Sausage Bisquits and Gravey like it's nobody's business.

She was the one that kept this family together.  We all spend just about every major holiday at their house.  Their farmhouse is where we would have the famliy reunions. 

She was a great person, and this family, her friends, and this world is going to miss her.

I'm going to try to fly down to Louisville, so I might be away for a bit.  We just found out around 40 minutes ago…so I'm not even sure what's to come.

Thanks guys.  When Hadley found out that her Great-Grandma was in the hospital the other night she wanted to go down.  She said to Peanut and I, "We should drive down to see Mimi.  It would make her feel better and then she could go home."

She's such a good girl…
