Hi guys , I haven't been around much the last couple months becasue I've been sick. I was in the hospital for a couple days back in August and have been going through test after test to see what was going on. Turns out it was my gallbladder. I didn't have stones or cysts, I had something called bile infarction (sp). Basically my gallbladder would fill up with bile and couldn't expell it. This would casue pain that mimicks a gallbladder attack. After seeing 5 different doctors I finally got a diagnosis and a surgery date, which was this past thursday. So far I'm doing okay, just sleeping alot becasue of te pain medication. But otherwise I am okay. Soooo, that's what has een going on the past couple months :) I wasn't tryig to ignore you guys ;)

Oh, Stephanie - I'm glad you are okay.  Gall bladder issues totally suck.  You are in my thoughts…

don't worry hun. it will get better.  yeaaaaa for percocets… lol…  it's funny we don't realize how much we use our abdomen until we get someone in there messing things up..

now.. a word of advice to you.. my doctor told me that it takes up to a year for your abdominal wall to heal.  At least that is what he said…

so.. don't go moving any heavy decks or lifting anything extremely heavy… !!!

thanks guys! I'm feeling much better then a couple days ago.. I am able to get up and do things on my own so that's good ... plus I have the best nurse ever to help
me out ... thank goodness for mommy! LOL
