bnldavid Jan 8th 12:41 pm

So after you get out of bed and pee, make coffee or shower and go to work….or at home..

What is the first thing you look at online?

1. Mail
2. Sheboygan Press Obitutaries
3. Facebook (Please note that I have deleted my myspace account…sorry but it sucks)

What about you?

Jen Jan 8th 2:10 pm

1. yahoo mail
2. chatter (occasionally)

that's usually all I have time for in the mornings. At work I check:

1. Blogger(see if my blog has any comments. It usually doesn't.  Also check on the blogs I'm following)

when I get home at night:

1. yahoo mail
2. facebook

2. School email account (the one personal account i can check from work)

3.  The chatter

Thread Killer Jan 8th 2:33 pm

Gmail and NES

Then work e-mail

then Work.

When I get home if I think about it, I'll check Facebook and MySpace

Darlene Jan 8th 5:45 pm

1. My bank (have had my bank card info stolen TWICE…someone spent $900 at freakin' Walmart of all places)

2. email

3. Myspace, Facebook and/or The Chatter if I have time…if not…I check them from my cell if I have downtime during the day…

CKel Jan 8th 7:17 pm

Gmail and Twitter. That's pretty much all I check until I get home.

glory Jan 9th 8:41 am

1. Gmail mail (personal)
2. Yahoo mail (lists, subscriptions, etc)
3. Least I Could Do comic
4. Looking for Group comic (only on Mon & Thurs)
5. Chatter

About 1-2x a week, I'll check MySpace. I got away from it for awhile…am trying to get back to it.

I deleted my Facebook account. It's just not what I wanted. Yeah, MySpace is an ad whore, but Facebook was just a glorified address book for me. So, no Facebook for me.

bnldavid Jan 9th 1:24 pm

oh and of course I check the chatter right away too….

I like facebook. It gives me a quick clean look at my online friends…

Richard Jan 9th 4:56 pm

1. Various email accounts through Thunderbird.
2. iGoogle (rss feeds of BBC, NY Times, Sci Am, etc)
3. Woot
4. Chatter
5. Fark
6. Digg

Refresh them all throughout the day.

Sean Jan 10th 6:26 am

I like Facebook a lot too. I've only been on for a month but I think its a good way to stay connected to friends.

Still freaking hate Myspace but I have booked photo shoots through it so its worked for me to promote my photography.

I check the Chatter a few times a day.

My MSN Spaces blog which is like a virtual ghost town. I'm surprised there aren't animated gif tumbleweeds blowing through it.

Then Sherdog.com, MMA weekly or one of the other mixed martial arts sites to see whats going on.

Then if I have time I check out all my friends blogs or Myspaces, Facebooks if they have them.

Various movie sites like Aint it cool, reel.com, rotten tomatos ect…

Then its time for porn.

Not necessarily in this order, but it's about right:

1. Gmail
2. Massively (a site dedicated to online roleplaying games - World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, etc.)
3. Ain't It Cool News - a movie sit run by geeks.
4. News sites. MSNBC, Fox, CNN, Salon, Slate are the main ones.
5. Lurk on the Chatter.
6. MySpace, if I'm in the mood

flecktone Jan 24th 2:14 pm

1. Work email
2. Personal email (Roadrunner & gmail)
3. Facebook (this is a new one for me, but is creeping up to my #1 addiction)
4. Local newspaper online
5. MySpace
6. Chatter (slowly slipping down the list for me…not sure why)
7. SI.com - NFL
8. Dear Abby

I check Facebook obsessively throughout the day as time allows.  Myspace is usually a once a day thing now.  If it weren't for all of the bands and comedians that post info on blogs and bulletins, I'd probably drop it altogether.

Stephanie Jan 27th 1:08 pm

1. SU email
2. Gmail
3. Facebook
4. Dlisted
5. Playbill.com
