Sick…fever…chills aches…sore throat…N&V…the whole shebang…

Back from an excellent (but WAY too short) trip home…hung out with my bestest friend that I had growing up…(THANY YOU FB!)

Waiting to see the Cadillac STS Chip is currently out buying…I've seen it online…it's a beauty…

Thankful that because I am sick that I didn't have to go…I hate the whole car-buying process.

Trying to at least get myself a little motivated to get my stuff out of the Durango because I am giving it to Brandon…

A little sad about that…but Brandon needs a better car…and I do like our Grand Cherokee too.

Wishing Jordan was feeling better…or I'd ask him to do it for me (he's sick too)

can't believe I had to change my tire yesterday…when I got off work…but happy that I know how to do it!

glad my mom's surgery yesterday went well and she is doing great…

Telling Taz..I hope that's not the case…but even in the WAY off chance that it was…I'm not too worried.  It hasn't presented in the US as virulent as in Mexico.  My only concern is that I was traveling this past week…and the plane was full to Boston.

I think I'm getting bronchitis. again.  I'm just hoping that I can get into the doctor tomorrow because of the panic that this whole swine flu crap has started.

Dar - That was what I was thinking….I knew you had been traveling.  I am convinced that the mild ickiness I am feeling is the usual allergy/sinus crap caused by our ever changing weather…and NOT some sickness I picked up on the airplane(s) last weekend…

hoping for a warm sunny weekend…but probably going to be cold and sunny…..

Busy few days ahead..

my girl starts soccer tonight…

then off to scout camp.. drop her off for the weekend….

then home to pack up for a 2 day craft show… (very excited!)

and then back to work on Monday..

so I will be sitting here… in the same spot.. wondering.. wtf did my weekend go????

I was reading Glamour magazine yesterday and they had a bunch of fancy soaps they were advertising and one was a handmade looking one for $30!!!! I'm really glad I have a soapmaking chatter friend, $4 is a bargain! ;o) hahahahaha

happy to have some quiet time along before I get gibbs as the girls are in the big city shopping and the boys are going to hang out on the boardwalk and have a late dog and pappy lunch….

shocked to have found a news story online from back in 2000 (I had no clue that was possible) of the terrible and tragic death of a very dear friend….I knew how she had died, but to read it in the paper in great detail tore my heart out….

hoping to get started on my deck project tomorrow…blasting off the peeled stain and prepping for the big staining job….

We've been enjoying the beautiful weather here. Going for lots of walks when we can.

Started going back to work two weeks ago. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Hoping the landlord comes to look at the washing machine tomorrow. It broke over the weekend and me and the baby are almost out of clean clothes.

Excited because I got invited by a musician aquaintance of mine to do 1/3 of a 3 hr set with him at a gig in two weeks… he wants me to do an hour of my own stuff. Yikes!  Should be a nice relaxed venue, though, so that's good. 

I think I might have broke my boyfriend this weekend! ;o) He said it was totally worth it thou! hahahahahahahha

...back to work after a very nice weekend, and wishing that it was still the weekend…

...successfully had a birthday party for the 6 year old and laughing b/c the pinata that I filled was so full, it broke after 3 hits…so we *duct taped* it back together two more times! LOL

...surprised that my pupcakes got such a reception, but glad people thought they were cute. Just need to practice some more to get it spot on…

...contemplating the idea of moving in with the fiance 3 weeks before the wedding instead of after the wedding as planned, and having mixed feelings about it…

...not wanting time to zoom by so quickly, but at the same time, can't wait for the big day!

very tied up with dissertation and finals but enjoying spending my free time reviewing the art festival events going on this month in my city, although it's unbelievable how many people have tried to bribe me with alcohol when they know i'm reviewing their show/their friend's show!

other than that I'm still going to my best friend's dress rehearsal for the opera at the academy tonight. just don't have any other day to see it.

want to stop feeling icky. had to cancell singing lesson today… not good.

Tired after hosting my wife's sisters' families and her parents for a mother's day cookout.  Good food, good weather, and a few games of cornhole.  What a good day.

Thinking about patio plans we're making for our yard, hoping we can pull it off.
