Happy Fathers Day to all the dads. What have you got planned for your dad or what have your children got planned for you?

My dad is going to be 82 in a few weeks. We got him an IPOD Touch and loaded every cd he owns (that is a ton of Elvis and Frank Sinatra) onto it for him. We didnt plan a big event, I stopped to see him yesterday with Jamie, Jenna and Gibbs.

My young adults are planning on making dinner for just our immediate family this afternoon as we lounge by the pool. We go lucky…the weather is ideal. My wife is making an oreo torte and a cake. Andrew is "frying" (you call it grilling) bratwurst, ribeye sandwich steaks and salmon for the girls.

Should be a fun time.

I got woke up this morning by my kids.  And they draged me into the kitchen to find a home cooked Father's Day Breakfast.

We had Eggs Benidict, Bisquits and Gravy, tasty Hash Browns, Bacon, Sausage…it was VERY good.

Hadley made a tie out of paper and and elastic…it was very good.  I put it around my neck, she colored it and put a picture on it.  It was the best present ever!

Other than that, a few of the neighbors..we're all talking about getting the families together and doing a little Father's Day Bowling.

We're hosting my parents, sister, their neighbor and my brother and his family with a cookout this evening.

Had my old dad and my new dad over for lunch.  We ate sammiches, watched golf, and they made fun of me while I tried to fix my toilet.  Good day.

Shelby made Chip breakfast in bed…and then he had to go to the restaurant.  Busy restaurant day for us.

We were supposed to have a cookout at the pond, but it rained for the second year in a row. So we went to the park instead and cooked under the pavillion. Just like last year.

It was my boyfriend's first father's day. He decided he wanted to sleep all day, so we let him. I took a really cute picture of him and our son the other day. So I went to Walgreeens and had it enlarged to an 8X10 and framed it for him. That was his present this year.

IOM, that's great.  I loved pictures of me napping with the wee ones.

I love the idea of the paper tie, that sounds really cute!

Well it was a few days late (because it was up to me to pick it out!) but I got a new Craftsman miter saw yesterday for father's day.  Woo-freakin'-hoo.  Now my dad can stop borrowing his miter saw from me all the time.
