BNL Chatter / Barenaked Advice / Photo Uploading Sites

Hey, I am looking for a photo hosting site that I can use for my class reunion. I want to give people a link where they can upload their own pictures to a group album. I set one up in Photobucket, but then found out that everyone who uploads, has to join photobucket. Are there any sites that allow group albums to upload pictures without going through the hassle of joining? I understand that I have to join, but I dont want the class members to have to join just to add photos…... Suggestions?

Shutterfly let's you do that. Picasa does too I think. If you have picasa on your computer, it's super easy--just click and send lol Those are the only two I can think of right now. |

nope….shutterfly will not allow people to add photos without signing up for a shutterfly account. Neat looking site…I built an account. But then when I emailed it to myself, click on the link to add photos, up pops the sign in box.

Could you just set up a generic Photobucket account then email everyone the name and password so they can all upload? |

Of course that also means everyone could delete, or anonymously upload that naked photo of the former prom queen for everyone to see… |

Sean kind of hit on the reason you can't find anything like this, David. Though, trust in Glory and the Google…Picasa has a feature where you create an email address for your account that when someone sends a picture to that email address, it gets added to your account. You have to take an extra step as account owner to assign the picture to an album, but I think that's as close as you'll get. |

That was my first thought…just set up the account and let them run wild…..but I am finding they are not the sharpest tacks when it comes to technology. Must be the older than dirt thing. But thanks for your suggestions… |
