BNL Chatter / Random Surveys / For the RockBand/Guitar Hero crowd...

There is ONE BNL song on Rock Band, and it's a holiday song… What gives? So here's a question… What songs would you want to play on a game like BR/GH? I'd love to see: ... OK I'll just stick to 5 right now. ;) I've already got a reservation card @ Target and $60 in the bank held for Beatles RB next month, can't wait!! |

Wind it Up would be good for the guitar riff |

How about learning to REALLY play guitar? |

I fucking hate when people say that. No one says "How about you learn to really drive a race car or really shoot some hookers" when you play Gran Turismo or GTA. It's a fun rhythm game with an excellent control scheme. It's entirely possible to learn to play the guitar and enjoy Rock Band at the same time. In fact, there's a lot Rock Band can teach you about keeping time, following a beat and vocal work. The point of the game is not to pretend to play instruments, but to hit buttons in time with rhythm. That's it. It's a game. It's a hobby. Playing guitar is another hobby. They're not mutually exclusive. Now on topic, they have a lot of great songs that I would like to see in Rock Band, but they would be much better under the new Beatles RB system with harmonizing vocals. Hopefully that will carry on to RB3. |
