Just passing on through…been very busy lately.  Hope that everyone is doing well in Chatterland…I mostly just follow along on FB.

Chilling and trying to get motivated to get ready…going to see Stone Temple Pilots tonight…

Totally jazzed that I was able to see "Them Crooked Vultures" earlier in the week…

Revovering from a few cracked ribs…watch out for small tables…small dogs and dark rooms…

Excited to be going to Orlando in 3 weeks…going to party with my old Disney friends and then my bestie and I are chilling in a condo on Daytona Beach…happy because my best friend's sister is in remission…it's been a scary year…now it's time to party…

Excited to be going HOME for Thanksgiving with the kids…I have not celebrated Thanksgiving in New England since I was in HIGH SCHOOL…

Excited because the woman that I rented the house on the Cape emailed me and has a new place for me to rent…I was her favorite and she gave me first dibs…so we will be spending August on the Cape this summer…YAY!

So funny…because I was just there 3 weeks ago…and had a wonderful time with my friends and family.

I have just been a traveling….Buckeye game attending… concert fool of late…and I like it!

feeling like a truck just ran me over…..

really disappointed in myself and my slide since July….

vowing to eat right everyday…..

swearing about candy corn and halloween candy that is everywhere…

at work unexpectedly cause a colleague's grandma died last night. sad for her that the flight was too expensive for her to go to the funeral…

hungry! and I can't really eat anything they serve here… doesn't fit in the health diet.

slightly cracking up at the new teaching job. I'm going to do a kids' choir so I went to 3rd-6th grades at the school where it'll be today. they're so cute! (yes, I know they'll be little monsters, but still).

actually kinda psyched about new job. am already subbing for another teacher tomorrow, and I'll be starting everything soon. finally working in my field.

can't believe I'm seriously considering (have actually accepted) producing the Opera at the academy again this year.

learning a few new lieder for the auditions at the end of the month. kinda exciting!

now all I need is a man ;)

wondering what I am going to do on Halloween this year, if anything….

trying to avoid that sickness that is surrounding me….Jamie's got the swine, Jenna something else and now Jodi sounds terrible and is coughing up a storm….

had a great time at a chamber business connections event and happy to have met some fun new people….

screaming about landing 14th row seats at Lambeau for the Packers game this sunday!

Preparing to go tour a preschool this morning and possibly put Bethany on the list for next year. I can't believe she is actually almost old enough for preschool.

Trying to convince the new puppy that a little cold and rain outside is no excuse to shit on the floor inside.

Working a ton of OT to get my stuff done by the end of next week so I can take the last week of October off.

I have yet to be convinced of that myself, Sean.

swine flu….feel absolutely fucking terrible…spent yesterday in ER getting blood and viral work up…IV fluids..x-rays…meds and breathing treatments…

laying in bed intemittently passing out while listening to iTunes…woke because something growled at me…

it was me.

stupidly awake. dreading tomorrow's early rise. hoping my cold dissolves tomorrow. sad that i will have gone 7 nights away from my bf… before sunday night.

idea for a halloween costume - finally. but not sure how to carry it off.

dad really guilt tripped me earlier when I said I wasn't coming home tonight… I know I haven't been home in a couple of weeks and that last year I didn't come home very much at all, but I'm working right now and also tomorrow morning, so I don't want to kill myself driving an hour and a quarter each way when I'll have to wake up early tomorrow morning early to get to work on time in Jerusalem…

on the other hand, I kinda want to go home and it *is* his gf's daughter's birthday dinner…

am I horrible for being too tired to go?

thinking I'll end up going anyways. *sigh*.

Woke up at 2 am and can't get back to sleep - tummy troubles.

Loving all the things I'm learning in my law classes.  Not just cool history and cases, but practical things like research, briefing, and citing cases.  Also that my instructor says, "You aren't here for the grade, you're here to learn."

Upset that my stupid mouth (or typing fingers) got me in trouble and hurt someone in a thread in Facebook.  The family STILL isn't speaking to me.  I don't think I said anything too horrible, but the kid is still upset about it.

Going to go lay on the couch and watch The Firm - recommended viewing from my instructor.

Wishing a very good friend some very prayerful vibes after he found out his stepfather hasn't long to live.  Makes me wonder when the shit is going to quit hitting the fan for this wonderful guy!
