Really glad to have the next 2 weeks off.  Been a long, tough year and the time with the kids will be perfect…

Wishing that the wonderful man in my life was going to be here for the holidays…but totally understand him spending it with his family and kids…

Working lots of OT at H1N1 clinics.

Gearing up for a fun Christmas.  My little girl is 2 1/2 and this is the first year that she really "gets it."  She keeps telling us more and more things she wants Santa to bring her.  We can't wait to see her face on Christmas morning when she walks into the living room and sees it all.

Disappointed in my pending reassignment at work in a month or so.  I really enjoy what I'm doing now, but due to layoffs, there are positions that need filled in programs I had previously worked, so I'm making the lateral move.  Oh well, it's better than losing my job.

Excited that my wife is just 4 classes away from quitting her job here to begin her student teaching.  A year from now, she'll be preparing to make that move followed by a career change.  It will be a nice change for her.  And since she'll have two degrees, more flexibility too.

Hoping everyone here has a wonferful Christmas filled with love, laughter, and reflection.

TOTALLY agreeing with Richard on the rotten people--we have met more rude, awful people over the last week than any holiday season ever…

happy to see so many of the Chatterites doing so well (been a long time since I checked in)...

looking forward to making dinner with my ma and bro later (ham, homemade mac-and-cheese, & green bean casserole, mmm)...

glad that Christmas morning went okay, but sad that it's our first without our awesome dad…

dreading spending the weekend writing out thank you cards for the memorial but thankful for our amazing friends and family…

off to procrastinate by reading the Complete History of Friday the 13th and snuggling up with our nibbly new catbaby--hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

got snowed in for Christmas but made the best of it…. went to Christmas Eve at my friend Jen's house, and hosted my own tiny Christmas dinner the next day. Have enjoyed extra time wiht Amelia and sleeping in my own bed, so I can't complain too much about the storm other than the incessant shoveling. Enough already! I've shoveled twice and it's snowing AGAIN.

back at work and just loving it…..
