T’was the night before Christmas
And Santa was a hustling
Between work, home and gibbs
Things they were a bustling

All his elf helpers
Had tons of stuff poppin
Single mom is the redhead
Cpher’s job keeps him hoppin

Santa was debating
Was a poem even needed?
A few weeks ago
Missy’s warning went unheeded

When out on the chatter
There was uproar and noise
Seems that cute fiery redhead
Had amped up her voice

“Hey Jolly St. Nick…
Where’s our poem you old geezer?”
Knowing full well
Santa would do ANYTHING to please her

So your resident Old Santa
His old bones a achin’
Pushed aside his walker
And rhymes started makin

And much to his surprise
The keys started typing
The old guy was determined
To stop all this griping

So coming at you is Santa
All alone in his rhymes
I hope this does not suck
Just a sign of the times

Fleck is firmly entrenched
As a great daddy guy
His little girl is growing up
My gosh how time does fly

Seems like Peggy is happy
Some good stuff is afoot
In school, job and loving
Let’s hope it all does take root

TJ …..hey there girl
How was your trip to NOLA?
I hear they have drinks there
Taste just like cherry cola

Richard is married now
And a house he has gotten
His wife Amy’s a cutie
Go figure-cuz he’s rotten

Jeff is the king of the updates
On Facebook he lives
Still spends most his days
On school and kid care he gives

Taz had a really tough year
And suffered some losses
Santa hopes things get better
Good luck at her he tosses

Dean has been a busy man
With work and his movies
Santa thinks he is one great guy
In fact I’d call him groovy

Peanut how do you ever manage?
To do all that you do
So many fun things going with her girls
And lovable hubby Cpher too!

Mox is going back to school
And now looking for a new gig
She’s known for her love of dogs
And her heart oh so big

Where oh where is her Twinsey?
Not a sighting here in so long
Kits where are you hiding?
We hope you’re not forever gone!

Cpher has a new job we hear
A hospital is his new home
But never far from his favorite beer
Does this man’s man roam

Jen’s got her hands quite full
Nathan’s in Iraq for a year
She’s filling what free time she has
Singing at the White Horse and brewin beer!

What can Santa say to Raven
To give her hope for next year?
She’s got a new cutie in Madison
Olivia’s six now? Oh dear!

Our Sprung girl is turning over
A completely new leaf
Em and Short Stack keep her busy
Kaeti’s turning 18 this year? Oh good grief!

Stephanie is done and graduated
Got herself a new place and a career
She’s moved to a whole new town
Santa hopes friends she keeps near

OTD doesn’t come round much
We are hoping things are okay
Alicia must be driving now
Seems like she was born just yesterday

To say that Glory has a whole new life
Would be more than just a hunch
She’s married now with a new family
Reminds Santa of the Brady Bunch!

It’s Only Me had a handsome baby boy
Sometime during last season
And what a fabulous name that lad got
Santa likes David for some reason

Sean is such a super daddy
For his wee little ones
From wrestling to Cub Scouts
The fun years have just begun

Jessica is a dental hygienist
For her job she wears gloves
She proudest though of her family
Her nieces and nephews are her loves!

Story is stuck in another time zone
Her posts come at strange times
When we are all sound asleep
She’s busting out with rhymes

Missy has found her true love
They are having lots of naughty fun
Wondering when there will be wedding bells
Come on Henry…let’s get this done

Joe has been seen lately
Zipping in and out of the chatter
But he never seems to stick around
Hey Joe…what is the matter?

Santa will be making one quick stop
To see Wolfy this Christmas for sure
She’s been so busy with her soapy shows
Sometimes all we see is a blur

Darlene had another busy year
Of working and of travel
H1N1 got her good
Let’s hope she won’t unravel

Look there’s Jeremy or Jughead
A big family has he now
He started this whole Christmas Poem tradition
So I think he should take a bow

Ebee is a newbie here
Although she said she’s been a lurking
From Jolly Old England she hails
On her schooling she was working

What can Santa say about himself?
It’s pretty much the same old stuff
Always proud of his young adults
Gibbs keeps him busy that’s enough

When Santa thinks of days of old
When the chatter was so new
Zanne , Mac and Phantom were posting then
But now sightings of them are few

Folks they come and folks they go
Big Er’n for one comes to mind
Hell even Skates made an appearance this year
Could Tixie be far behind?

For C-Kel Santa fears the worst
And D is nowhere to be found
Let’s keep them in our thoughts and prayers
Hopefully next year they’ll come around

So 2009 has come and gone
Some people did disappear
MIT and JRB both hit the road
The end surely must be near

The time has come to end this poem
Best Wishes for Twenty Ten
This thing is done and thankfully
Next year I won’t be writing alone again!

I have one wish for all of you…..
May your holidays be cheerful and bright
Here’s hoping your New Year’s dreams come true
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
